Dr. Aziz was born in Karachi, Pakistan and spent her childhood in Tehran, Iran. Her path to dentistry started with a BDS from Baqai Dental College in Karachi, Pakistan in 2001. After immigrating to Canada in 2003, Dr. Aziz started focusing on obtaining a DDS and her dreams finally came true in 2021 when she graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After graduation, she completed a one-year residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in Bangor, Maine which helped her to further sharpen her dentistry skills. Dr. Aziz enjoyed the experience of working with the under-served in Maine. She has also volunteered at several dental and health care facilities in Calgary and is keen to start volunteering again.
Dr. Aziz is very fortunate to have travelled and lived in several countries around the world including Canada, United States, UK, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Iran. She has enjoyed being exposed to the various cultures, history and communities which has helped her to better understand the various cultural differences. She is passionate about providing quality dental care, listen to and understand her patients’ concerns and then provide the best possible care. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband and three beautiful boys.
